Sometimes buying games directly on steam can be expensive, and since I buy quite a lot of games saving even a little bit can add up in the end. So here’s some of my favorite key sites I use.
Official retailer:
What is an official retailer? in short it means that the keys you buy are coming directly from the publisher or developer of the games, which means with every purchase you make money go directly to the creators. if you want to support developers using these sites is a great idea.
Humble Bundle – originally it was a site that only sold game bundle sites, but as time went on they opened a great store that now sells games often at cheaper prices than on Steam. Fanatical – Another great site that is mostly known for its cheap bundles, however they sometimes offer fantastic deals on single keys, especially on their featured deals that offer limited quantity of game keys.
Green man gaming – a great key seller that offers a lot of discounts that are usually cheaper than Steam.

Grey market sellers:
What are grey market sellers? these sites don’t get their keys directly from developers or publishers, but instead they get the keys from other sources, like buying bundles and selling the spare keys, buying keys from cheaper regions and selling them globally, selling keys from promotions etc. In short when you buy these keys, the money goes to the resellers and developers don’t see a penny from these purchases. Think of grey sellers as Ebay. Resellers often sell games at incredibly cheap prices, and are generally much cheaper than official retailers. Keys on these sites might not always work, however you can use their support systems and get a refund or key replacement so it’s rather safe.
Eneba – very cheap prices and good support system, when my key didn’t work I got my money back the same day after providing some screenshots and following the instructions.
